Most people who have it done, notice that their eyesight still gradually deteriorates slowly.
And scientists don’t yet know if there are any long term side affects, as the surgery hasn’t been around very long. It’s difficult to know whether you would still have perfect vision when you are into your 60’s.
Has there been any scientific study, to suggest that laser eye surgery may not be as safe as everyone thinks it is?
I have experience of dental treatment under sedation, not full general anaesthesia, but just IV sedation. I was wondering if sedation is ever used in laser eye surgery, as I would like to have it, but I’m not sure if I could bring myself to go ahead with it. I would be most appreciative of any advice
