Do you have to sign a document before LASIK surgery where the optician is free of any responsibility in case you go blind or something like that?

I am fed up of wearing contact lenses and sometimes glasses. I am confused to which remedy I should use. Like should I go for lasik eye surgery for eye correction or professional eye exercises ?

My age is 32 years.

I am having Lasik surgery tomorrow at 4 pm. I want to go on a discovery flight in a Cessna 172 at 8 am, so eight hours before surgery- will any of the g-forces or any other parts of the flight strain my eyes too much before surgery?

Hi, I had my LASIK Surgery 3 months ago. Recently, I feel that my eyes are very dry. My doctor suggested me to use Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops. Are there any OTC eye drops I can use to solve this problem? Thanks.

I leave to army basic training in about 2 weeks. Should i get lasik surgery after i get settled in and stationed?

I’m 41 and have worn contacgs for astigmatism and near-sightedness since the age of 11. About a year ago, I began having difficulty seeing up close with my contacts on. It is getting worse and worse - to the point that I can’t enjoy reading a newspaper, book, and have the computer set at 150% zoom. I cannot wear glasses due to some scar tissue behind both ears from previous surgeries.

My question - as I am "only" 41, I fear that the "old-age-can’t-see-the-menu" syndrome is just beginning and that if I pay for lasik now, my eyes will continue to change and I’ll end up doing it again in a few years. I don’t trust what a doctor (who wants money NOW) would answer.

Anyone had this experience?
